Our Mission
Proverbs 17:17 says, “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.”
Rooted in this wisdom and our Vincentian values, the 17|17 Young Adults program fosters faith, community, and service. As brothers and sisters in Christ, we support one another and extend compassion to those in need. Through these connections and acts of service, we encounter Christ and reflect God’s transformative love in the world.
Our Values
Faith | Community | Faith In Action
Grounded in faith and Vincentian principles, 17|17 Young Adults builds strong friendships that offer support through life’s ups and downs. We provide guidance, prayer, and understanding in all situations, finding strength and connection as a spiritual family. In tough times, we come together with prayer, practical help, and encouragement. Committed to service, we strive to uplift the most vulnerable through charity, advocacy, and systemic change, reflecting Christ’s love in all we do.

Core Principles
01
Community
Building strong, faith-filled friendships
We believe life is richer when shared. Rooted in faith, our community fosters authentic friendships where laughter, encouragement, and prayer flow naturally. Together we create a family of belonging, carrying one another through both joys and challenges
02
Support
Encouraging one another in all times
“A friend loves at all times” reminds us that real support is constant, not conditional. In every season—whether in celebration or in hardship—we commit to walking beside one another with encouragement, prayer, and compassion. No one should face life’s trials alone.
03
Brotherhood & Sisterhood
Born for times of adversity
Scripture reminds us that “a brother is born for a time of adversity.” As young adults navigating faith and life, we find strength in knowing we are part of a spiritual family. In moments of struggle, we lean on one another with trust, prayer, and love that reflects Christ.
04
Service
Helping the poor and marginalized
Our faith compels us to move beyond words into action. Inspired by Vincentian spirituality, we seek to serve the poor, the vulnerable, and the overlooked. Through works of charity, advocacy, and daily acts of kindness, we embody God’s love in practical, transformative ways.
05
Faith
Living out God's love Daily
Faith is not confined to Sundays but woven into the everyday. In our words, choices, and interactions, we strive to reflect God’s love—living with kindness, integrity, and compassion wherever He leads us.
