School of
Religious Education

2025-2026

Registration Opens June 20

At Holy Trinity, the School of Religious Education (SRE) is more than just a program—it’s a journey of faith, formation, and community for students from Kindergarten through High School. Whether your child is preparing to receive First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, or Confirmation, or is beginning their faith journey through Christian Initiation Adapted for Children, our mission is to accompany your family every step of the way.

We are proud to offer age-appropriate, spiritually enriching programs designed to help children and teens encounter Christ, grow in their understanding of the Catholic faith, and develop a lifelong relationship with the Church. Our dedicated catechists and volunteers work together to create a welcoming, dynamic environment where faith comes alive.

Letter from the Director

MAGRO

DIRECTOR OF
RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

Dear Families,

As we look ahead to a new year in the School of Religious Education, my heart is full of hope and excitement for all that God is doing in our parish and in the lives of our young people.

This year marks Phase 2 of our program transition, and with it comes a wave of exciting updates. We are working diligently to return to a two-year model for Religious Education, providing our students with more time and depth in their formation. We’re also introducing new resources and tools into our curriculum to better support our catechists and enrich the classroom experience.

One of the goals closest to my heart is helping our students not only know about God—but know Him personally—and find lasting friendships in a faith-filled community. That’s why we’re planning new activities outside of the classroom designed to connect our kids and teens with one another in joyful, meaningful ways. Our hope is that these connections carry them through high school, college, and the rest of their lives.

With our volunteer recruitment campaign, we are prayerfully optimistic that we’ll have enough support to offer a Spanish-language session this year. This is just one more step toward making our programs more accessible to all families in our community.

I also want to take a moment to sincerely thank all of our current volunteers, who have shown incredible dedication, flexibility, and heart as we’ve navigated the growing pains of change. To the parents who’ve walked with us this year and offered your trust and your patience as I learned my way around—thank you. Your encouragement has meant more than you know.

I truly believe the best is yet to come, and I invite you to dive deeper into our programs and discover where your family fits best using the links above. Let’s make this a year of faith, friendship, and formation like no other. In Christ,

in Christ,
Bri Magro
