Our small group model helps teens (grades 7–12) form authentic friendships and a real relationship with Jesus. Over two years, they prepare for Confirmation in weekly small groups and monthly large group sessions.

You’re considering the path of Teen Catechesis, that means two things:

You really love Jesus, and
You’re just the kind of brave soul we need.

Let’s be honest—working with teens is not for the faint of heart. But it is for the faithful, the fun, the flexible, and the wildly hopeful. You don’t have to be a Bible scholar. You don’t have to have all the answers. You just need to show up, be real, and let the Holy Spirit handle the rest.

These young people are facing a world full of questions, distractions, and noise—and you get to be a voice of truth, joy, and steady faith in the middle of it. You get to build real relationships, foster trust, and walk with them through one of the most formative seasons of their lives. That’s not just volunteering—that’s discipleship.

And yes, you’ll probably have to dodge a few awkward silences, a questionable meme reference, and at least one intense snack debate… but you’ll also witness holy moments that remind you exactly why you said yes in the first place.

In this small group model, your presence matters more than ever. You’re not just teaching lessons—you’re forming hearts, planting seeds, and maybe even making faith cool again (no pressure). The curriculum is solid, the team is here to support you, and the grace is abundant.
